This project takes about 1 hour to complete. Time is a restriction as the resin begins to set after 40 minutes. The resin requires 24 to 48 hours to cure before it can be removed from the mold and used. The tray is about 11x9 inches. I did this craft months ago, so I no longer have the kit directions. IIRC, no resin-hardening times were given on the instructions, so I had to guess. It was a mess! My secondary and tertiary colors just sunk into the primary color and the resin never hardened. The tiny handles didn't stay straight up; they just sunk into the resin. It was so ugly and still so wet days later that I threw it out! I would never do this kit, or recommend it, again, but I would consider a resin kit if the items were small, like earrings, so the resin would actually dry.
I have a 1 year prepaid subscription, so each kit is a surprise for me. I had never worked with resin before so I was very excited when this kit arrived! The instructions were very easy to follow & the tray that I created was so pretty that my hubby suggested that I leave the handles off & use it as a wall hanging instead! I would highly recommend this kit!

I wanted to learn how to use resin so I bought this kit knowing it would have everything I needed and clear instructions. I enjoyed making a beautiful tray for myself, and have used the mold and my new skill to make a few more to give as gifts. It was fun to do and great results!
