Shibori & Classic Tie Dye Kit
The Shibori & Classic Tie Dye Kit encourages you to create gorgeous dyed linens for your home. This craft will guide you through the Japanese dyeing technique of Shibori and other dyeing strategies. By folding, twisting, bunching, and binding the textiles, you will be able to create various dynamic patterns.
This craft kit includes RIT indigo dye, color-safe fixatives, and all the materials needed to try a variety of dyeing techniques. This kit has six 100% cotton dinner napkins and a cloth tote bag. Crafters will need a washer/dryer, scissors, and tape.
This craft takes about an hour to complete. Once the dyeing process is complete, we recommend washing according to the instructions before use. The napkins are 20x20 inches and the tote is about 20x24 inches. With so many textiles to choose from, this project is great to do with a friend!

I had so much fun learning about shibori! I'm half Japanese and I didn't know about this craft til now, but now I'm obsessed - it's like an adult version of tie dye. It's pretty straightforward to do, but has lots of room for creativity and complexity. I bought a white dress to also dye and I'm excited to wear it out!

This kit was so much fun! I've never done tie dye before, so thought they came out well for a first timer. Love that your kits come with everything you need. Only drawback was the pans provided for the dye weren't big enough and I resorted to using a bucket.
