Very cute in the end. The board came very light so I white washed sage green with a light gold for the background. I didn’t love the choice of flowers but the eucalyptus were very nice. Probably would have chosen gold nails as well. In the end it turned out cute but I’ll probably change the flowers myself. Would have been helpful to include stain or background paint ideas.
I opted to use my own paint color, even though the kit comes with black and white paint. I'm really happy with how it turned out and that I have plenty of thread left over, in many colors, that I could do more projects like these two, again, on my own surfaces.
This is a great kit. It comes with a whole rainbow of threads to choose from so you can make your vase and embroidered canvas the right color for your personal decor. I absolutely love how the string art vase turned out and am looking forward to doing the canvas.
