Hanging Mirror Shelf Kit

This was such a fun and useful project! I love my shelf and it's so helpful to have!

It was OK, kind of unimpressed... for $34, I feel like I just bought an really expensive screwdriver. The wood was cut in a sloppy way... the edges were splintered, make the final product really tacky. The pictures on the site has the edges sanded down and rounded out... that not the piece of wood I actually got in the kit (And it’s not a one off... my whole group had the same issue). The supplier could’ve made a clear cut by using painters tape while making the cut to get a clean edge line and/or sanded down the the edges. Instead of the screwdriver, the supplier should’ve added sandpaper to the kit which would’ve been a lot more useful (plus cheaper).

This was pretty quick and easy to do. I changed it to blue and dry brushed it to make it a more weathered look. Haven’t mounted it where it’s going to go yet as I need to paint the wall first. The wall is going to be grey so I thought the blue would be better with the wall color than the color received in the kit.

This was a pretty fun one. I opted to use a pouring technique over the basic white paint set. It was easy to assemble and looks pretty on the wall. Apartment people will want to make sure to patch the walls before moving as the screws to attach it to the wall are pretty big.
