I received the Wood Slice Wreah Kit in November as my monthly craft kit subscription. As soon as I saw the contents I knew I had to give this to my mom for Christmas. It is one of those craft kits that you smile the whole time you are doing them. I had so much fun making this that I ordered another one for myself!
This came together so nicely! I made a wreath I could hang on my kitchen wall all through the year, and I ordered a personalized nameplate to glue on top. The only quibble I had with the kit was that the circle base piece had so much black dust stuff on it and it got all over and would not wash all the way off. I didn't use the included glue. I bought Elmer's nontoxic wood glue because I am sensitive to strong glue smells. My scissors were not strong enough to cut the flower stems, so I used a different cutting tool I had. All in all, I am very proud of this wreath and it looks so pretty on my wall! This was my first project and I am looking forward to the next one.
I love this kit! I don’t have the imagination to see these items in the store to come up with something so beautiful. Super easy to do. It does take time and patients for the glue to dry. ;)
